Vleggeert Nico07/11/2009The British steamship Dowlais SS was torpedoed by German submarine UB-48 on the 3rd December 1917 and sank off Cape de Fer, Algeria when on route from Greece for Bona and the Clyde carrying a cargo of copper ore.
